The basics of wax carving workshop

Join me for a lovely creative afternoon carving your very own ring from wax.  All classes are held at my shop at Cei Llechi in Caernarfon! This basics to wax carving class focuses on sizing, shaping and texturing your ring.

What to expect: My  beginner wax carving workshop focuses on an ancient technique of using wax to sculpt creative designs. In this creative class you'll be provided with the tools you need to shape and add texture to your ring. We won't be following a set design, however inspiration and ideas will be provided to give you some ideas!
 
By the end of the workshop you will have created your very own wax carved ring that I will then take away and get cast into sterling silver. Once I have polished and finished up your ring we will arrange a collection of your masterpiece.
*Please note that this can take up to three weeks*

What you need to bring:
Wax shavings can be a little messy so avoid wearing knit wear if possible. Or if you have an apron, bring that along!
